The “comfit jar” that became a lampshade
November 3, 2009
Bonjour!!!!!!!!
Finding new uses for objects that would be thrown away, makes me feel happy…it’s so nice to see things turning to new objects, you just need creativity.
This was a big comfit jar that became a lampshade. I bought the dome and started creating … Airton (an employee from my architecture office) took care of all electrical installations (following all safety rules!!).
And inside the jar I put led rope lights to create a unique effect, and to highlight the art I made on the outside.
This art was made gluing many things on its inside (photos, cloths, papers…including a poem I wrote). I used white glue, and I had a lot of patience…and it worked out! I created a beautiful effect!
This lampshade is at http://www.chria.com.br/vitrines/chria_pra_casa.htm.
xx and have a great week!
