Yesterday Fabi and I went to our client’s house to make this wall decoration…detail: the vinyl adhesive, with exclusive drawings from Chria (we created them on the computer), was already there! It was a good surprise seeing it there, just waiting for the flowers, leaves and the bird that made the cage its friend…I liked it very much; the vinyl matched all the other elements, made of cardboard with compounded fabric all around them…and Chria’s sweeties…it was unique and personalized!

And the client wanted to have a measuring line, so she can follow her little girl’s growth. So sweet!!!! We loved the idea; it was a pleasure making this wall decoration!!!

And this is how I want us to start our week, choosing happiness! And what’s the happiness you’ll choose for this week?

I found this great photo on the internet, and it inspired me to start a different week with you – choosing happiness.

I’ve already chosen mine: I’ll start going for a walk every day, at least for half an hour. I know it will make me feel more disposed and even happier with my body. If we don’t take care of our body, our mind feels it and won’t follow our routine 100%…and so on… And I want to stop for 5 minutes each day to meditate. All this will start this week; this is the happiness I’ve chosen for me.

And imagine covering this chair with compound fabrics, or even better, to choose a strong color (like gold yellow) and paint it! Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe there’s a drawer in this chair??? Isn’t it great??

I love changing the original purpose of things; in this case, the bedroom looks charming and personalized…

Well, Cristina is specialist when we talk about pizzas. Guys, it was something! I’ve never eaten so much pizza! And delicious pizzas…

Cris! You were wonderful!!!!! I can’t wait to have pizza again…

Last weekend we went (the whole family) to LindnerHof hotel, in Rio dos Cedros – SC – Brazil, to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. My brother-in-law – Horst (who owns the hotel) invited us all. Horst, thank you sooo much!

Let me tell you a little about the hotel. It’s a charming hotel built where originally was the Lindner Sawmill – my father-in-law’s sawmill.

Everything was preserved during the remodeling; the machines are there as accessories and furniture (like the front desk counter). Its architecture was also preserved; they kept the history in there, to be remembered…

I enjoy watching my hubby’s family keeping its traditions and history, it’s really great!

And this weekend we had it all: feijoada (a traditional Brazilian dish made with black beans), horse rides, Jeep rides, everybody together around the fireplace, pizzas (delicious pizzas) made by Cristina (Puppy from Chria) and a lot of wine!!!!! Wow!

I needed a place like that to relax. It’s amazing how we are swallowed by routine, our daily life, work…we realize that even weekends are gone…well, I took a deep breath, meditated at the waterfall, talked a lot, played with my kids…got my energy back!

It was a fantastic weekend! I recommend, do it!!!

Hello!

This idea of filling the entrance hall with printed doormats is awesome! So original and simple; a unique and funny effect.  I used to do it with pieces of different doormats, but I love this way!

I also liked the light wall paper, the little umbrellas on the wall, and the Dalmatian…

Wow, who put that dog there? I love it! Very charming!!!

Hello! Good evening!

I was a great mom the whole day, I played a lot with my kids at the school’s party, I cleaned the house and prepared a wonderful lunch…good, very good…I just can’t do this during the week, so I take weekends to be a good housewife, clean the house, play with the kids, cook…LOL…we must have time for everything, times goes so fast…

And I also forgot my diet at the party, I ate only delicious things….and believe me, I’m so happy about it!!! LOL

Well, now here goes a post about MEMORIES, many albums to remember special and magical moments…

Wow, I decided to write a little about the beginning of this blog…

Thanks to Cris Fernandes I met the blogosphere, she said: “this is a fascinating world…” Then I decided to take the first step…thanks Cris, dear friend! I love this world!

Even only virtually, you’re my friends! Every post I make makes me really happy!

I remember that this blog started with such a huge will to share good things with you, and so it goes until nowadays, a lot of information, happiness, trips, architecture, Chria…and your participation, always…

Today we’re a community, friends, we exchange experiences, we laugh together…and I’m always trying to keep it going this way, in a real way.

This post is to remember and also to thank!

I remember how Claudia Pimenta, Ana Medeiros, Paula Popi, Flavia Ferrari, Pri Gutti, Liège, Janeisa Tomás, Luana Davidsohn, Chris Campos, Eva, Cris Ventura, Simone Quintas and so many other friends encouraged me in the beginning (and they’re still here!!)…they’re friends and communication, creativity, originality and determination models…thanks girls!!!

Then I started meeting other girls (they’re all there, in “Favoritos”), they became my friends. With these blogs and visiting them (I love it!) I met new people, they met Chria, and we started chasing this dream together…

It was so good when Lúcia, Stella, Érika, Gil, Roberta, Fayga, and so many others started leaving comments here, and also participate directly in my work…just great!!! You have no idea how important it is, I love reading your comments, looks like we’re closer, more connected…I try to answer all of them, exchanging opinions and creating a real friendship.

Well, I stopped with this crazy daily routine to remember incredible moments we’ve been through together; and I wish many other discoveries together.

I’d like to thank all visits and followers! It’s great! It makes me really happy! Without you, it makes no sense at all!!
