Almost everything! Cause is all the best changing…you can wear it around your waist, in your head – in several different ways…it creates a unique visual! It’s gorgeous with jeans and t-shirt! You just need to be happy, the rest is beautiful…

It’s raining a lot…and you must remember all problems Blumenau had last year with all that rain..well, I’m always worried when it rains, I’m worried with all that people who live in dangerous areas. It’s a problem we have to learn to live with, at least until our government takes some attitude about it…quickly!
Well, let’s talk about good things, things that make us happy…
The cookbook, it’s a recipe book from Chria, all decorated – its outside with composed fabrics, sweeties and pretty applications, and after all this, a plastic to protection. On its inside it has plastic envelopes so you can keep your printed or hand written recipes. So you avoid them to get dirty in the kitchen….These envelopes can also be taken off the book. It’s an album to keep with your family for generations…and besides this it’s a beautiful decoration object. And you can also add pictures from your culinary creations…the album will be very special and unique!

I would like to talk a little bit about the city Chris Lindner and I were raised, where we studied, and now where we work. Chria’s headquarters is located in Blumenau (Santa Catarina State – Brazil).
Blumenau was discovered by Germans in 1850. It’s a wonderful city to live, almost half of the inhabitants are German descendants, and another good part of them are Italian descendants. And, of course – we are in Brazil – we have several inhabitants coming from different parts of Brazil !!!!
Although we are in Brazil, Blumenau is located in the south….so….we have a really cold winter (there are some places in Santa Catarina State – and other states in Brazil – that have snow during the winter). Actually, this week has been really cold….
But during the summer….well, it is HOT, very very hot! Then we all remember we live in Brazil !!!!

Girls!
Those delicious macarons I love…can now be found here in Blumenau. Two sweet and talented girls learned the technique in Paris and they are creating these sweet delicious things here – in Les Amies – it’s a nice visit, their work is amazing! (Les Amies website is available only in Portuguese)
Well, today I met them and they gave me an awesome decorated box filled with colorful macarons – it’s hard to eat them (so beautiful they are) – and they are delicious!!! I loved them and I’m already imagining the orders I’ll make…
I couldn’t resist and I created a post here – so I can share this with you!

Design, the handmade passion, the colors around me, architecture, my history and the history of those who I love….poetry, Bach and Mozart music, friends, family, daughters…so many things I love….traveling and different people culture – they always taught us so much. They can transform the environment and also have an artistic value! I think cushions are like a art canvas – but with the possibility of using them! When I create a composition, it’s like I wanted them to talk to each other – having a history. With fabrics and unique handmade embroidery, it becomes a timeless piece.
