Hi everybody!

Well, let’s post again! Here in Brazil we are now returning to our regular life….and although Chris was posting from Mariscal (place where she took vacations – you can see something about it below, on older posts), and I was at Rio dos Cedros – a gorgeous place full of nice people, water sports, nature, peace….but without telephone, internet….?!? Only a few houses have phone and internet, but my in laws’ house does not….well, take a look at wonderful photos at http://www.riodoscedros.sc.gov.br/conteudo/?&item=16078&fa=8180.

But now we both return to this blog and to our jobs, sooo…..I wish you all a wonderful 2010 full of good things, love, work (yes!), and happiness…

Hello! First, sorry for my absence…the last 2 weeks were crazy to me!!!

Besides translating Chris’blog, during the day (and sometimes at night) I organize events. And last week the company I work for had a national concert with Emmerson Nogueira!!!! He’s a Brazilian singer and he’s a blast!!! It was awesome!! Here’s an youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y30WPt2sCJM.

Although I wasn’t coordinating this event, I was involved with its organization. So, I spent some nights at the office, and I really didn’t have time…even for my hubby L

But now I’m back!! The next concert is only in April, soooooo….I’ll start translating Chris’ posts today, ok? Let’s work!!

Hello! Well, this last weekend we had a holiday in Brazil…and a lot of people decided to travel and relax – including me!!

My hubby and I went to the countryside; and we took hundreds of photos so you can meet Brazilian countryside…

I would like to talk a little bit about the city Chris Lindner and I were raised, where we studied, and now where we work. Chria’s headquarters is located in Blumenau (Santa Catarina State – Brazil).

Blumenau was discovered by Germans in 1850. It’s a wonderful city to live, almost half of the inhabitants are German descendants, and another good part of them are Italian descendants. And, of course – we are in Brazil – we have several inhabitants coming from different parts of Brazil !!!!

Although we are in Brazil, Blumenau is located in the south….so….we have a really cold winter (there are some places in Santa Catarina State – and other states in Brazil – that have snow during the winter). Actually, this week has been really cold….

But during the summer….well, it is HOT, very very hot! Then we all remember we live in Brazil !!!!
