Hello friends!

Now I’m a little more organized with my things, I continue my posts and cool ideas to have fun here, at sweetblogchria – always changing information, learning more and relaxing, because this is the place to feel lighter and happier…

Let’s go: last weekend I went to an International Festival of Tap Dancing and Jazz at Curitiba with my daughter Valentina – her group was representing the city of Blumenau.

It was fantastic! I loved the Teatro Positivo (its architecture and acoustic are great!), and I couldn’t imagine there was going to be such a reputable jury – really excellent professionals. I also knew about Roseli Rodrigues work – who unfortunately died of cancer (lymphoma) at the beginning of this year…The Ballet from Teatro Guaira danced in her homage, presenting her play “O Segundo Sopro”, opening the Festival! This play connected the elements – wind, water and stones in nine scenes: “Aurora”, “O Segundo Sopro”, “Corpus”, “A Partilha”, “Tetraktys”, “Uno”, “O Retorno”, “Aurora2” and “Harmon”. In the last scene, the dancers danced bellow an artificial water fall (it’s really water! A lot of water…) on a stage covered with a reflecting pool.

These are the jurors:

Brian Thomas – Danced and choreographed Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous” tour

Jason Janas – started his career in rhythm tap with the New  Jersey’s Tap Ensemle, directed by Deborah Mitchell

Lisa La Touche – Canadian, nowadays she’s been living in New York – she’s choreographer, ballet dancer and she also represents the American Culture at Beijing International Dance Festival

Thiago Marcelino – he’s a choreographer and a ballet dancer rewarded 7 times at Festival de Dança de Joinville (Joinville Dance Festival), and he’s a dancer of the Orquestra Brasileira de Sapateado – Estella Antunes (Brazilian Tap Dancing Orchestra)

Blumenau got 4 trophies!

They got 3 trophies of 1^st place and 2 of 2^nd place. Congratulations tap girls – Valentina!!!!! Congratulations to the teacher and choreographer Michele! You were great!!! I loved participating and living such an great time!

Hello friends!

I’m here filled with nostalgia at the end of the party…LOL. I love being alone, listening to music, with the lamp on reflecting its light on the ribbon…and thinking how wonderful this is. I love what I do, the people I work with, my friends that are far from here but they also leave me such nice comments here…they’re physically far from here, but it looks like they’re right next to me!

Well, I’m quite a little sad because I forgot the camera cable to download all photos on the computer, but on Monday I’ll do it and I’ll show you everybody at the party!

Yesss! Tomorrow early in the morning I’m going to Curitiba – my daughter Valentina and her tap-dancing team from Teatro Carlos Gomes have a presentation in an International Dance Festival! We’ll be back on Sunday.

I’m afraid of taking my computer, because it’s important giving her attention; and also my little Luiza wants to go with us…LOL…let’s cheer for the Angels!

Well, during the rush, I forgot I had an interview booked with Record (a Brazilian TV channel)!! It was such a hurry, finding make-up, preparing everything …. but in a few minutes I was ready! And it was great!

Sorry I’m posting this just now, I was finishing the “brigadeiros”(a Brazilian sweet dish, very common in children’s parties)…

Hello guys!

I love this decoration with butterflies, they’re so delicate and they create a gorgeous effect with light and shadows…I also think that these little butterflies would be great in little frames, like boxes!

I made a mold to share with you – maybe someone can be inspired to create butterflies at home…it’d be a great idea!

Preparation: print the drawing in colored paper (choose your preferred color) – make different sizes!

Cut them and place them in different positions on the surface. Glue them with a little bit of hot glue – it’s enough.

And this is how I want us to start our week, choosing happiness! And what’s the happiness you’ll choose for this week?

I found this great photo on the internet, and it inspired me to start a different week with you – choosing happiness.

I’ve already chosen mine: I’ll start going for a walk every day, at least for half an hour. I know it will make me feel more disposed and even happier with my body. If we don’t take care of our body, our mind feels it and won’t follow our routine 100%…and so on… And I want to stop for 5 minutes each day to meditate. All this will start this week; this is the happiness I’ve chosen for me.

Wow, I decided to write a little about the beginning of this blog…

Thanks to Cris Fernandes I met the blogosphere, she said: “this is a fascinating world…” Then I decided to take the first step…thanks Cris, dear friend! I love this world!

Even only virtually, you’re my friends! Every post I make makes me really happy!

I remember that this blog started with such a huge will to share good things with you, and so it goes until nowadays, a lot of information, happiness, trips, architecture, Chria…and your participation, always…

Today we’re a community, friends, we exchange experiences, we laugh together…and I’m always trying to keep it going this way, in a real way.

This post is to remember and also to thank!

I remember how Claudia Pimenta, Ana Medeiros, Paula Popi, Flavia Ferrari, Pri Gutti, Liège, Janeisa Tomás, Luana Davidsohn, Chris Campos, Eva, Cris Ventura, Simone Quintas and so many other friends encouraged me in the beginning (and they’re still here!!)…they’re friends and communication, creativity, originality and determination models…thanks girls!!!

Then I started meeting other girls (they’re all there, in “Favoritos”), they became my friends. With these blogs and visiting them (I love it!) I met new people, they met Chria, and we started chasing this dream together…

It was so good when Lúcia, Stella, Érika, Gil, Roberta, Fayga, and so many others started leaving comments here, and also participate directly in my work…just great!!! You have no idea how important it is, I love reading your comments, looks like we’re closer, more connected…I try to answer all of them, exchanging opinions and creating a real friendship.

Well, I stopped with this crazy daily routine to remember incredible moments we’ve been through together; and I wish many other discoveries together.

I’d like to thank all visits and followers! It’s great! It makes me really happy! Without you, it makes no sense at all!!
