Do you want to create a unique decoration with printings?!
A good idea is to cover your books and create an outstanding effect in your bookshelves…or even pile them on tables…it looks gorgeous!
If the books are piled, put over them a vase with flowers, photo frames or even a lamp!

Hello friends!
Now I’m a little more organized with my things, I continue my posts and cool ideas to have fun here, at sweetblogchria – always changing information, learning more and relaxing, because this is the place to feel lighter and happier…
Let’s go: last weekend I went to an International Festival of Tap Dancing and Jazz at Curitiba with my daughter Valentina – her group was representing the city of Blumenau.
It was fantastic! I loved the Teatro Positivo (its architecture and acoustic are great!), and I couldn’t imagine there was going to be such a reputable jury – really excellent professionals. I also knew about Roseli Rodrigues work – who unfortunately died of cancer (lymphoma) at the beginning of this year…The Ballet from Teatro Guaira danced in her homage, presenting her play “O Segundo Sopro”, opening the Festival! This play connected the elements – wind, water and stones in nine scenes: “Aurora”, “O Segundo Sopro”, “Corpus”, “A Partilha”, “Tetraktys”, “Uno”, “O Retorno”, “Aurora2” and “Harmon”. In the last scene, the dancers danced bellow an artificial water fall (it’s really water! A lot of water…) on a stage covered with a reflecting pool.

These are the jurors:
Brian Thomas – Danced and choreographed Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous” tour
Jason Janas – started his career in rhythm tap with the New Jersey’s Tap Ensemle, directed by Deborah Mitchell
Lisa La Touche – Canadian, nowadays she’s been living in New York – she’s choreographer, ballet dancer and she also represents the American Culture at Beijing International Dance Festival
Thiago Marcelino – he’s a choreographer and a ballet dancer rewarded 7 times at Festival de Dança de Joinville (Joinville Dance Festival), and he’s a dancer of the Orquestra Brasileira de Sapateado – Estella Antunes (Brazilian Tap Dancing Orchestra)

Blumenau got 4 trophies!
They got 3 trophies of 1st place and 2 of 2nd place. Congratulations tap girls – Valentina!!!!! Congratulations to the teacher and choreographer Michele! You were great!!! I loved participating and living such an great time!

Hello!
Today we are going crazy around here…everybody organizing the event that will take place here tomorrow all day long…Yes! Tomorrow is going to be a very special day here at the atelier (from 10am to 7pm). The doors will be open for you, with decorated rooms created especially for you…
Here you’ll find more details about it!
Well, do you have old newspapers at home? Don’t throw them away!!! I have a great idea for decoration, it looks like a painter who just got crazy and covered the whole place with them … LOL … It looks so great that I suggest it to you, to decorate circulation rooms, just like corridors. Imagine a corridor with one wall all covered with newspapers and another wall all white, with pictures in different sizes, creating a gallery of pictures black X white?!? Gorgeous!
Cris Fernandes! Remember that table we were going to cover with fabrics? Let’s do it with newspapers???
So, keep the old newspapers, ok?
Love you!
Chris
I’ll take pictures of everything tomorrow, and I’ll show them to you!

Hi gals!
I was organizing my research files and I found this amazing idea that I saw some time ago on the internet – sorry, I don’t remember its source…
Well, it made me remember you and thought it’d be nice to show it here – it’s very simple to create this effect, isn’t it?
Who knows how to create printings on clothes? Or to create a branch on the wall and stamp these roses?
J’adore!
To create is always a new discovery!

Hello dear friends!
Maybe you don’t understand me, but I’m sure you will! I spent the weekend studying Marina Bychkova’s work – I’m in love with it, impressed with the dolls and the creative process – fantastic!
I’m very happy with this discovery, and I share it with you – maybe most of you already know her…
Marina was born and lived in Siberia (Russia) until she was 14 years old. Since 1997 she lives in Vancouver, Canada.
Her biggest passion is to create porcelain dolls, because, as she says: “The paint will never fade, scratch or chip. The porcelain pigment will remain unchanged by sun light and unaffected by finger oil.” And this is very important for her. She says: “these creations are designed and meticulously manufactured by hand to the highest degree of excellence. Porcelain is my medium of choice because of its permanence in the face of time and elements.”
I spent hours looking at the dolls on her website – the distant look, a charming sadness…, its anatomy and the sexuality details – the genitals with such delicate details…a piece of art!
The artist says: “I refer to various sources of inspiration and idea development. Any artist and specially a doll artist must look outside of their medium and aesthetic for inspiration to avoid regurgitating what’s already been done a million times.”
I’m still dreaming of, one day, ordering my own doll – a beautiful dream, isn’t it?
To order it’s necessary to fill a form (on the website) and pay 50% of the total price. A porcelain nude doll costs $ 1,985 CND and takes from 150 to 350 hours to be made, depending on its characteristics.
Marina presents us with a secret: she says that her dolls are living beings and that she talks to them…
Have a nice week!!!

Bonjour!
Let’s start with a delicate accessory; it looks like it’s been forgotten in a music box from the 18th Century.
It’s amazing, but it looks so present, if it’s worn with a pair of jeans, or even leather pants – it could create sexy and modern outfits…love it!
This bracelet is special!
I thought about wearing it upside down, a little higher on the arm (right below the shoulder). I love the ribbon braid, the embroideries, the cloth fringes…
And this illustration made by the designer who created this bracelet, is incredibly refreshing and pretty, isn’t it?
I propose start the day with a different look, cosier, calmer; enjoying details of life…they are magical!

Girls!
If I could be a doll I’d be a Blythe …LOL…I love these dolls! I have one (my hubby gave it to me) and believe me: I still play with dolls….
And my friend Stella knows it – she gave me this cute little notebook, it goes everywhere with me!
It was a surprise present that made me feel like a child – I really appreciated it!
Do you know what’s more important of all? It’s to remember that a friend yours (who lives more than 1,000 km away) loves Blythes; and buy this present for her…
Dear Stella, a huge kiss for you! And thank you so much!!!

Bonsoir!
As I promised, I teach you how to make these famous pom-pons so popular in birthday parties around here…they substitute the regular balloons, it’s charming and original – and it’s so pretty!
It’s very easy! Let’s go!
- 30 sheets of silk paper to make one pom-pon like this one I made (it has 45cm diameter).
If you want smaller sizes, just smaller pieces of paper.
